2023 Barrow Street Book Prize Winning manuscript, The Mouth Is Also a Compass, chosen by Nathalie Handal and written by Carrie Bennett of Somerville, MA will be published in fall of 2024.
Ruben Quesada of Chicago, IL was the 2023 Editors' Choice winner for his manuscript, Brutal Companion. It will also appear in fall of 2024.
Prose Book Contest
We are thrilled to announce that Mary Cappello has chosen Honey from the Ground by Soren Tae Smith as the inaugural prizewinning manuscript.
We are also excited to announce our 2023 Prose Contest runner-up, Spare by Michelle Lewis will be published 2024 as part of the new Barrow Street Prose Series.
